Kazakh-Pakistani transport and trade coop discussed in Islamabad

The issues of development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the spheres of transport and trade were discussed at the meeting. The Federal Minister stated that the Government of Pakistan was interested in strengthening cooperation with Kazakhstan. The Kazakh diplomat noted that Kazakhstan assigned high priority to the development of transport system and its integration into the international infrastructure on the basis of the Transport Strategy of Kazakhstan till 2015. The parties also considered prospects of establishing transport communication and trade between Central and Southern Asia. The Ambassador extended Mr. Arbab Alamgir Khan an invitation to the 1st Asian Cooperation Dialogue Ministerial Transport Forum. To date Kazakhstan chairs the organization of Asian Cooperation Dialogue uniting over 30 Asian countries. Besides, the Minister received an invitation to the ministerial session that will be held in Almaty within the framework of the 5th Eurasian Auto Transport Conference.
