Kazakh parliamentarians to take part in range of international meetings in St.Petersburg

ASTANA. October 25. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ A delegation of the Kazakh Parliament headed by Majilis Speaker Ural Mukhamedzhanov will take part in the CIS, EurAsEC and CSTO Interparliamentary Assemblies in St.Petersburg, the press service of the Majilis reports.

The CSTO PA Standing Committee will hold session on the issues of defense and security on October 26. Majilisman Valikhan Konurbayev will take part in it. On October 27 the CIS PA Standing Committee will hold sessions on the issues of international cooperation as well as on agrarian policy, natural resources and environment. Majilis deputies Amzebek Zholshybekov and Yerlan Nigmatulin are planned to participate in the sessions. Besides, session of the CIS PA Standing Committee on preparation of the draft Innovative Code for CIS member states is scheduled for that day as well. Majilisman Beken Alimzhanov plans to take part in the session. The agenda of the day also includes sessions of the EurAsEC IPA Bureau, CSTO PA Council and fourth plenary session with participation of Ural Mukhamedzhanov and Amzebek Zholshybekov.

On Thursday, October 28, the Kazakh parliamentarians will participate in the 35^th plenary session of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly. Later in the day the Interparliamentary conference devoted to Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship will be held as well. The Interparliamentary activities will finish on October 29 with the Interparliamentary Congress "Road Safety for the Life Sake".
