Kazakh PM Akhmetov meets Kyrgyz colleague in Bishkek
The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan greeted his guest from Kazakhstan and said during the bilateral negotiations and the 4th session of the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan Intergovernmental Council a wide range of issues will be discussed.
He also praised the positive dynamics of commercial and economic cooperation between the two countries.
S. Akhmetov said the Kazakhstani delegates attach great importance to this visit and will focus on the discussion of commercial and economic relations, in the first place. Utmost attention will also be paid to free movement of goods and services between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
In addition, the heads of governments noted the task set by the presidents of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan on increasing the mutual sales turnover up to $1 billion had been accomplished in 2012.
According to the Kazakh Ministry of Finance, the sales turnover between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan amounted to $1.058 billion in 2012, or increased by 41% in comparison with 2011.
The 4th session of the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan Intergovernmental Council is to start in Bishkek after bilateral negotiations of Akhmetov and Satybaldiyev.
