Kazakh PM assigns to ensure security while using AI
At today’s external meeting Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov drew attention to the development of common approaches to the availability of data systems of state bodies for further use and development of artificial intelligence, Kazinform News Agency reports.
According to the Government’s Telegram Channel, the Digital Development Ministry, concerned state bodies and akimat are tasked to regulate works on data collection, storage and protection and to ensure its reliability and significance.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of transparent and safe work when using AI-driven technologies.
He said it is necessary to provide corresponding legislative measures, laws and regulations regulating AI use, including data protection, cybersecurity issues, responsibility for the decisions taken using the AI and ethical norms.
Earlier the Prime Minister charged Science and Higher Education Ministry to develop educational programs and courses to learn AI.
It is worth reminding that with the rapid adoption of AI in companies, anxiety is growing among employees, who fear losing their jobs to AI.
