Kazakh PM got acquainted with information system of electronic public purchases

KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has got acquainted with informational system of electronic public purchases and work of web-portal of the Financial Accounts Depository. As earlier reported, the development of the system and web-portal was one of the resolutions of the Government, Kazinform reports.

The main purpose of the electronic public purchases is transparency of biddings, simplification of purchase procedure and minimization of human factor in selection of supplier. Beginning from 2010 all public purchases by method of pricing facilities will be obligatory conducted in electronic way. ?Profit from the public purchases was significant. Totally relative saving is up to 21.8%?, Kazakh Minister of Finance Bolat Zhamishev said. He also informed that a half of public purchases by method of pricing facilities will be conducted in electronic way this year. According to Director General of ?Electronic Commerce Center? Sultan Akhmetov, upon the results of 2008 over one thousand of announcements were posted on the electronic trading floor. 575 agreements were signed. ?Average saving on these agreements is up to KZT 46 mln or 21.8%? he said. ?Expected results of introduction of the electronic purchases in 2009 will be reduction of budget expenses on purchase of goods, works and services for state requirements, establishment of general procedure of public contact formation, cost reduction for procedures?, S.Akhmetov said.
