Kazakh PM meets with Chairman of SCO Business Council

ASTANA. March 28. KAZINFORM. Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has held a meeting with Dmitry Mezentsev, the Chairman of the SCO Business Council, Deputy Chairman of Russia?s Federation Council in Ukimet Uyi today; Kazinform refers to the Premier?s press service.

The parties discussed the issues of activation of work of the SCO Business Council and economic cooperation within the framework of the organization. D. Mezentsev expressed interest of the Business Council in extensive discussion of the economic component of cooperation. In this context he invited Prime Minister Massimov to take part in the XIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum planned for June 2009. He also expressed confidence that Kazakhstan?s initiatives would boost work of the Business Council.
