Kazakh PM received EurAsEC Secretary General

ASTANA. December 14. KAZINFORM  Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Akhmetov met with EurAsEC Secretary General Tair Mansurov, Kazinform has learnt from the press service of the head of Government.

Issues of trade, economic cooperation within Customs Union, Single Economic Space formation at the EurAsEC area were discussed during the meeting.

T. Mansurov reported on preparation of a regular meeting of EurAsEC Interstate Council at the level of head of states, scheduled on December 19 in Moscow, Russia.

Besides, the Secretary General told about the implementation of "Innovative biotechnologies" project. "This project realization will provide Kazakhstan and Russia with more than 56 products in the sphere on industry, medicine, agriculture and biotechnologies," T. Mansurov assured.

In addition, T. Mansurov reported a regular meeting of the Council of the EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund was held last week in Minsk, which discussed the current issues and the decision on the allocation of the next tranche of the Republic of Belarus in the amount of USD 440 million.
