Kazakh Premier urged to accelerate construction of bitumen plant in Mangystau region

ASTANA. February 24. KAZINFORM /Bauyrzhan Mukanov/ Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has charged to accelerate the construction of bitumen plant in Mangystau region today at the session of the Government, Kazinform reports.

?Today we should construct facilities where we could invest money?, K.Massimov said. As Minister of Transport and Communications Serik Akhmetov said, the level of bitumen consumption at the domestic market is about 450 thousand tons. In this regard commissioning of the plant in 2011 is very important. Development of construction documents will be accomplished in March 2009. The construction is planned to start in the second half of the year on the basis of the Aktau plastics plant.
