Kazakh President and head of EIB discuss trade-economic coop development

BRUSSELS. October 26. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ Within the framework of an official visit to Belgium Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with President of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Philippe Maystadt; the President's press service reports.

The sides discussed the issues of development of trade-economic and investment cooperation at the meeting. Following the results of the meeting there was signed a tripartite memorandum of mutual understanding between the SamrukKazyna National Welfare Fund, Development Bank of Kazakhstan and EIB.

"Every our meeting with President Nursultan Nazarbayev is a significant step to further strengthening of bilateral cooperation. We signed an important document aimed at strengthening partnership between Kazakhstan and the EIB", Philippe Maystadt emphasized.
