Kazakh President congratulates Vincenzo Nibali on 2014 Tour de France title

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has congratulated captain of the Pro Team Astana Vincenzo Nibali on his victory in the 101st edition of the Tour de France, Kazinform has learnt from the Akorda press service.

In his congratulatory telegram, the President of Kazakhstan noted that all Kazakhstanis had been following the multiple stage bicycle race for professional riders in France for a month. "Your will to win throughout all the stages allowed our team to celebrate Kazakhstan's triumph," the telegram reads. The President thanked Nibali and the entire Astana team for their hard and selfless work to win the race. Nursultan Nazarbayev wished Vincenzo Nibali good health, wellbeing, further success and athletic achievements.
