Kazakh President held telephone conversation with Azerbaijani counterpart

ANA. August 17. KAZINFORM Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has held a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Kazinform refers to the presidential press service.

The Heads of the States discussed the state and prospects of bilateral relations, in particular, the issues of economic cooperation in the field of energy and hydrocarbon transportation. Development of multilateral interaction in the Caspian region was discussed as well.

The leaders of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan agreed to further bilateral contacts at the highest level. The process of implementation of agreements, achieved at the negotiations in Moscow in July this year and preparation to the forthcoming visit of the Kazakh President to Baku were considered as well.
