Kazakh President initiated large scale Eurasian integration - Russian State Duma Chairman S. Naryshkin
The 37th plenary meeting of the CIS IPA was held on May 17, the press service of the Kazakh Majilis reported.
In addition, improving of the CIS IPA interaction with the CIS Council of the Heads of State was in the limelight.
Participants paid great attention to the integration processes and especially stressed the Kazakh President N. Nazarbayev's important role in this respect.
"Today we have discussed the role of parliamentarians of our countries in the integration processes in Eurasia. For the first time this idea was suggested by Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev. Integration processes on the CIS territory and in the Single Economic Space gain momentum. The Eurasian Economic Union is to be established by 2015," Chairman of the Russian State Duma Sergey Naryshkin said.
"Belarus fully supports the Kazakh President's integration ideas," Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreychenko stated.
The participants made a decision to set up a working group to address the work of parliamentarians within the Eurasian integration, especially the Eurasian economic integration.
