Kazakh President, Iranian Vice President debated bilateral relations aspects
The Head of State noted, currently Kazakhstan and Iran enjoy good relations in various spheres, the Kazakh President's press service said.
"We would like to advance our trade and economic partnership. Commodity turnover up to USD 1.3 bln does not meet potential opportunities of the two countries. We actively cooperate in international and regional structures, namely, UN, SCO and CICA. We are interested in reaching agreement on the Caspian Sea status. It is vital to intensify our efforts in this direction," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
In his turn, the Iranian Vice President drew attention to good political and economic relations between the states.
The parties debated aspects of bilateral relations and shared views on regional and international agenda.
