Kazakh President offers number of environmental initiatives within framework of OSCE

ASTANA. December 1. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ Kazakh President offered a number of environmental initiatives within the framework of the OSCE at the Summit in Astana.

'It would good to establish the OSCE Environmental Forum. It would be working on a number of problems. For instance, it would work on resolution of the Aral Sea problem or on the restoration of the territory of the Semipalatinsk test site', N. Nazarbayev noted.

President of Kazakhstan also considers relevant to develop the Program 'Water and Law'. According to him it would help to the countries who suffer from deficit of water.
