Kazakh President presents unique lab to Karaganda school

AGANDA. August 27. KAZINFORM. /Valentina Yelizarova/ President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has surveyed the activity of "Murager" school for gifted children while visiting Karaganda. It was opened in 1997 as an experimental multi-language school. The languages of teaching are Kazakh, Russian and English.

KZT 57 million was invested in repair of the school within Road Map state program. The school counts 493 students including 34 laureates of international Olympiads who won 20 gold, 11 silver and 3 bronze medals. Students prepare scientific projects in three languages. "Murager" ranks in top 100 schools of Kazakhstan in the annual rating of the Kazakh Education and Science Ministry. As a result of the 2009 republican competition of teaching ideas it was included into top 10 innovative schools of Kazakhstan.  

The President examined the system of innovative education, and the multimedia laboratory. The students' scientific projects were presented to N. Nazarbayev. Then the Head of the State presented first-ever in Kazakhstan Physics, Chemistry & Biology Laboratory designed by Nobel laureates to the school.
