Kazakh President reappoints Justice Minister

Azamat Yeskarayev has been reappointed as the Justice Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency cites the Akorda press service.

Yeskarayev was named as the Justice Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the start of 2023.

He was born on October 7, 1979 in Almaty city. He is a graduate of the Kazakh State Law Academy.

He joined the Justice Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a leading specialist in 2000. He left the ministry for a couple of years to join JSC “Kazyna “Sustainable Development Fund” in 2006-2007.

Yeskarayev returned to the Justice Ministry in 2007 and rose through the ranks to become the Director of the Legislation Department of the ministry in 2009.

In 2014 he was designated as the deputy head and then head of the legal department of the Chancery of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
