Kazakh President received US Ambassador

ASTANA. March 30. KAZINFORM Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the USA to Kazakhstan Richard Hoagland today, Kazinform refers to the press service of the President.

Prospects for regional cooperation and some issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed at the meeting. The issue of the Kazakh-American trade-economic collaboration, including the interaction in the sphere of innovative technologies was discussed. It was noted that accelerated innovative-industrial development of Kazakhstan will positively influence the economies of all countries of the Central Asian region. The issues of non-proliferation of nuclear arms, situation in Afghanistan and other aspects of the current international policy were discussed as well.
