Kazakh President receives ACWA Power Chairman of the Board of Directors

On the sidelines of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change taking place in Dubai, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Mohammad Abunayyan, the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of ACWA Power, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the Akorda press service.

The sides debated the key aspects for further cooperation between ACWA Power and Kazakhstan and the development of a package of investment projects. They also focused on the construction of a 1 GW wind farm in Zhetysu region. The volume of investments into the project is expected to reach 1.8 US dollars.
