Kazakh President receives Industry Minister

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev, the Akorda press service reports.

The latter reported to the President on the results of the Ministry's activity in 2013, realization of the State Industrial and Innovation Development Program, Industrialization Map projects, and plans for 2014. in particular, he briefed on the key branches growth rates, fulfillment of industrial programs and key support measures within industrialization.

Nursultan Nazarbayev drew attention to the need of ensuring further development of industries, energetics, special economic zones and attraction of foreign investments.
