Kazakh President relieves Deputy Chairmen of National Security Committee of their duties

The Head of State relieved Ruslan Seisembayev of his duties as the Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan – head of the Counterterrorism Service, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the Akorda press service.

The Head of State relieved Askar Amerkhanov of his duties as the Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan – director of the Foreign Intelligence Service.

Ruslan Seisembayev was appointed Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan in 2023.

Askar Amerkhanov took the post of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan in 2022. Since April 2023 served as Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan – director of the Foreign Intelligence Service
