Kazakh President's Address to the People presented in Warsaw

ASTANA. KAZINFORM On January 29, Kazakhstan's Embassy to Poland held a presentation of the Address of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to the People "Kazakhstan's way - 2050: common aim, common interests, common future."

More than 100 participants took part in the event. Representatives of the association, members of Poland's Parliament and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other governmental bodies, entrepreneurs, Kazakhstan's diaspora and journalists were able to learn about the Address in Polish language, the Kazakh MFA's press service said.

In his speech, Kazakhstan's Ambassador Erik Utembayev briefed the audience on main aspects of the Address and underlined that the document contains concrete instructions for implementation of the tasks set by the President in the "Strategy-2050". "The instructions of the Address are aimed at creating new opportunities for Kazakhstan's entrepreneurs and foreign investors, strengthening social policy, boosting the country's reputation on the international arena and strengthening Kazakhstan patriotism, based on common values and pride for the our country's achievements," Utembayev underscored. During briefing on the Address, the diplomat also presented information on development of Kazakhstan-Poland economic cooperation and possibilities of Poland's companies to participate in projects that will be realized in the course of implementation of the President's instructions. During the discussion part, the Kazakhstan's diplomat answered numerous questions regarding the issues of mining development, investments in logistics centers in countries possessing sea access, preparation to EXPO-2017, development of touristic potential and other. Poland's Senator Yan Libitski noted high importance of close public-private relations for the development of our country. In this regard he recalled his trip to Astana in 2009 where he participated in the International Conference on Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The Senator underscored that realization of the industrial-innovation programs will require robust investments and attention to the professional vocational education and suggested to enhance exchange cooperation in this area with Poland. In conclusion, Ambassador Utembayev expressed appreciation to the participants for their valuable comments and proposals, as well as their constant support of Kazakhstan-Poland relations. According to the Ambassador, in Kazakhstan we always carefully examine Poland's experience in implementing reforms in many economic and social spheres.
