Kazakh President to congratulate nation on Nauryz holiday

ASTANA. March 22. KAZINFORM. /Kalamkas Abuova/ President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will congratulate Kazakhstanis on Nauryz holiday in the square near the Kazakh Eli (the Kazakh people) Monument in Astana.

Celebratory events, devoted to the holiday of spring and renovation will take place the countrywide. Kazakh Eli is the first monument devoted to the Kazakhs? historic fate. Its height is 91m. According to the authors, the monument symbolizes crucial 1991 when the Republic of Kazakhstan declared its independence. It was opened in July 2008 and timed to the Astana?s 10th anniversary.
