Kazakh President to discuss situation in Ukraine with CIS leaders

ASTANA. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev received Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Erlan Idrissov, the Akorda press service reports.

The parties discussed the country's foreign policy priorities for a period ahead and urgent issues of the international agenda. "The situation in Ukraine affects directly the relations with the CIS countries and indirectly the Customs Union member states. I put forward a proposal to meet in the near future to share views and discuss the measures aimed at preventing of the development of dangerous tendencies in the current situation," the President stressed. Following the results of the meeting Nursultan Nazarbayev gave certain instructions.
