Kazakh President to visit Belarus in mid May

ASTANA. May 7. KAZINFORM "Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev is expected to visit Belarus on May 12-14, " the official representative of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Altay Abibullayev said at the briefing.

"Nursultan Nazarbayev and Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko will discuss perspectives of the Kazakhstan -Belarus cooperation in political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields. A special attention will be paid to the wide range of issues in such areas as agriculture, science, technology, transport and investments and effective implementation of the participatory action plan for 2012-2013 within the Road Map realization,  economic cooperation program between Kazakhstan and Belarus for 2009-2016, will be discussed,"  the official representative of the foreign service said.

According to A. Abibullayev, Presidents  will also consider problems of cooperation within the following regional integration unions: CIS, EurAsEC, Customs Union, SES and CSTO. Adoption of joint statements and the signing of intergovernmental documents is expected following the meeting.
