Kazakh President Tokayev meets with heads of political party factions in Majilis

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a meeting with the heads of political party factions in the Majilis of parliament, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda.

Speaking to the leaders of the fractions, the President said that was to hold consultations with them on the candidacy of Olzhas Bektenov to the post of Prime Minister as per Article 44 of the Constitution.

Attending the consultations were faction head Yelnur Beissenbayev of Amanat party, Megerram Megerramov of the People’s Party, Azat Peruashev of Ak zhol party, Askhat Rakhimzhanov of the National Social and Democratic Party, Serik Yegizbayev of Auyl party, and Aidarbek Khodzhanazarov of Respublica Party.
