Kazakh President tours school and museum named after Kemel Tokayev in Ushtobe town
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the general school named after Kemel Tokayev in Ushtobe town, Zhetysu region, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of Akorda.
While meeting director Lyazzat Isspanova, President Tokayev was briefed about the accomplishments of the school’s students. The Head of State also visited the museum named after Kemel Tokayev, opened in 1997, displaying the Kazakh writer’s personal stuff, photos, documents and books.
The President was presented with the intellectual game, dedicated to the life and creative work of Kemel Tokayev as well as a short play based on the writer’s novels.
The Head of State was also informed about the outcomes of the Kemel Tokayev Charity Fund’s activities, founded 15 years ago.
Earlier it was reported that President Tokayev embarked on his working visit to Zhetysu region. The Kazakh leader visited the ASMA INDUSTRIAL plant in the Taldykorgan industrial zone.
