Kazakh President visits new Palace of Schoolchildren in Karaganda region
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the new Palace of Schoolchildren in Karaganda region in Prishakhtinsk as part of his working trip, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda press service.
1,600 children attend 13 sports sections and interest groups at the Kausar Palace of Schoolchildren. It has Hi tech workshop, choreography classes, ART studio, TV and photo studio, VR architecture and WEB design classes, Intellectum studio, STEM laboratory, music studio, etc. it covers an area of 3,300 square meters and is fitted with necessary equipment to ensure high-quality education.
The Head of State stressed the importance of creative development of the younger generation and drew attention to the environmental protection, including holding of the Taza Qazaqstan ecological campaign. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev called on pupils to take an active part in it.
