Kazakh Prime Minister delivers speech at Silk Road int'l conference
TANA. November 30. KAZINFORM Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has made a speech via video link at the opening of the international conference "Silk Road" on Wednesday; Kazinform refers to http://pm.kz
"We are very proud of our progress for 20 years of independence. Our economy ranks among the world's ten rapid growing economies. Income per capita grew 12 times. The World Bank classified Kazakhstan as middle-income country, and our country enters top 50 world economies," Massimov told about Kazakhstan's achievements.
He emphasized that Kazakhstan pursued policy of improving business environment and investment climate by means of reforming legal framework.
The conference "Silk Road" will last in Almaty till December 1. It brings together senior executives, with influential policy-makers and experts, to discuss opportunities and challenges for their business community.
