Kazakh Prime Minister laid flowers to independence monument in Tashkent
TASHKENT. December 22. KAZINFORM Kazakh Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov attended a flower-laying ceremony to the monument "Independence and Humanism" in Tashkent on Saturday.

The monument is located on Independence Square. It represents a metal sphere with a map of Uzbekistan decorated with ornamental pattern. The monument was erected in the early 1990's. In December 2005, during the reconstruction of the Independence Square a "Happy Mother" statue was added to the architectural composition.
The head of the Government of Kazakhstan visited Tashkent complex "Hazrat Imam" and the mausoleum of Sheikhantahur, where Tole bi (Kazakh public figure) was buried.
