Kazakh Prime Minister met with Premier of State Council of China

Mr. Wen Jiabao noted comprehensive development of Chinese-Kazakh strategic partnership and good results of close interaction within the framework of the UN, SCO and CICA.

"China is ready to work with Kazakhstan and continuously improve the level of bilateral relations. Both sides should continue to strengthen and expand interaction in energy sector and on the fields of high technologies, infrastructure, agriculture and business. We should promote development of the International Border Cooperation Center", the Premier emphasized.

Then he noted that the SCO was an efficient mechanism for promoting peace, stability and development in the region.

K. Massimov congratulated China on successful holding of the World Universal Exhibition Expo 2010 in Shanghai and Asian Games in Guangzhou.

"Kazakhstan attaches much significance to Kazakh-Chinese strategic partnership. We intend to deepen energy cooperation with China, expand interaction in infrastructure, agriculture and non-primary sectors as well as strengthen ties within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization for promoting peace, stability and development in the region", Mr. Massimov said.
