ASTANA. KAZINFORM - In Washington Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan Askhat Daulbayev has metwith the Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Mark F. Giuliano.

The sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral legal cooperation, in particular those related to combating transnational organized crime, laundering of proceeds of crime, as well as the rapid exchange of information and experience. A. Daulbayev praised the role of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in cooperation in the fight against extremism and terrorism, cybercrime. He expressed appreciation for the organization of training for Kazakhstan Prosecutor General's Office staff members in the International academy of law enforcement agencies in the city of Budapest. The sides expressed interest in further strengthening collaboration between the competent authorities of the two countries to effectively confront challenges and threats of the modern world.
