Kazakh Prosecutor General briefed Nazarbayev on law-enforcement agencies' activity

ASTANA. January 16. KAZINFORM Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with Prosecutor General Askhat Daulbayev, Kazinform has learnt from the President's press service.

A. Daulbayev reported on law-enforcement agencies' activity in 2012, implementation of the President's instructions on promotion of the protection of the civilian population, public policy stability assistance and the high profile cases' investigation.

Nazarbayev stressed that accreditation allowed to advance training and responsibility of law-enforcement agencies' employees.

In addition, the Kazakh President noted the importance of ensuring inevitability of punishment and paying special attention to detection of crimes, having stressed that all those measures would help to lower crime rate in the country.

In turn, the Prosecutor General informed that the crime rate in each region of Kazakhstan is registered in the electronic crime map.

Following the meeting, the President urged to continue work on security situation, protection of the civilian population, social and state interests.
