Kazakh-Russian coop in field of maritime transport to be discussed in Majilis

ASTANA. January 26. KAZINFORM /Zhiger Baitelesov/ The Committee for Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security of the Majilis (Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament) offered the House to approve the bill, providing ratification of Kazakh-Russian intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the filed of maritime transport, Kazinform reports.

The Agreement provides full and effective use of the Navy and ports of both states and maritime sacurity, including safety of ships, crew members, cargo and passengers. The Agreement also provides strengthening and protection of the marine environment and recognition of documents, issued by authorized bodies of the sides: ID of a sailor or passport of a citizen.
