Kazakh, Russian regions sign action plan on coop development

On the sidelines of the 19 Kazakhstan-Russia Interregional Cooperation Forum which began in Kostanay on November 9, First Deputy Governor of Mangistau region Zhumabay Karagayev and Governor of Russia’s Astrakhan region Igor Babushkin signed 2024-2026 Action Plan for Cooperation Development.

The plan aims at implementation of joint measures in seven areas: trade-economic, investment cooperation, entrepreneurship and tourism support, industry, transport and construction.

Besides, the plan includes development of cooperation in agriculture and fishery, healthcare, culture and science, education, youth policy, as well as physical culture and sport.
