Kazakh-Saudi coop in sport and youth policy discussed in Riyadh

ASTANA. April 17. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Kairat Lama Sharif met with Chairman of the Saudi Youth Welfare Agency Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz in Riyadh on April 15, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Kazakh MFA.

The parties focused on the prospects of bilateral cooperation in youth policy and sport. The Ambassador informed the Chairman of the Saudi Agency of holding the 2011 Asian Winter Games in Kazakhstan and noted the Saudi side could invest in construction of large sports facilities in our country which would meet all Olympic standards. Prince Sultan, in his turn, said Saudi Arabia was ready for multilateral cooperation with Kazakhstan in sport and youth sphere. The parties agreed on arrangement of a visit of the Saudi Youth Welfare Agency to Kazakhstan in 2009 and signing an agreement on cooperation in youth policy.
