Kazakh, Saudi Vice FMs held talks in Astana

ASTANA. October 29. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Kairat Sarybai has met with his Saudi counterpart Prince Khaled bin Saud bin Khaled in Astana today.

The parties discussed the status and prospects of cooperation in political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. They also exchanged opinions on topical issues of international and regional security, considered the issues of interaction within the framework of the coming chairmanship of Kazakhstan in the OIC in 2011.

The Undersecretary of the Saudi Foreign Ministry praised the Kazakhstan's position in the world arena and Central Asia, the country's foreign policy initiatives, including the Congress of World and Traditional Religions' Leaders.
