Kazakh schoolgirl wins gold in scientific competition in South Korea

PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM - Zhanar Abdrahman, a pupil of Kazakh-Turkish Lyceum of North-Kazakhstan region, has won a gold medal at an international scientific competition "The young scientist", held in South Korea on March 3-4.

"I have won the gold medal in the international scientific competition called "The young scientist" in South Korea. I performed a project in mathematics," said Zhanar Abdrahman. Total the international competition has been participated by more than 200 students from Kazakhstan and South Korea. Zhanar aims to achieve better results in her studies. After graduating from school she plans to continue her education in one of the universities of the UK. It should be noted that a silver medal was won by another pupil of Kazakh-Turkish Lyceum of North-Kazakhstan region Aigerim Tleukul. The young lady plans to enter the Kazakh - British University in Almaty.
