Kazakh Secretary of State chaired session of the President's Committee on corruption fighting

ASTANA. March 12. KAZINFORM The meeting of the Commission under the President of Kazakhstan on the fight against corruption chaired by the Kazakh Secretary of State Marat Tazhin was held on Tuesday, the press service of Akorda reports.

The Secretary of State said that the fight against corruption was treated as a critical strategic priority for public policy. Not for nothing the Kazakh President highlighted the need to strengthen the control and eradication of this phenomenon in his Address to the Nation "Kazakhstan-2050" Strategy

In addition, the participants of the meeting noted that the health sector in terms of funding is one of the most capacious, where vast budgetary funds are allocated every year. Today, however, there is inefficient use of them, the problems of access to health care, medicines.

A number of issues related to subsoil use, since the major part of the national budget revenue generated by tax revenues in this area were touched upon at the meeting.

The meeting heard the reports of the Deputy Prime-Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev, Ministers of Health Salidat Kairbekova, Oil and Gas Sauat Mynbayev, chairman of the Agency for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption Rashid Tusupbekov and General Prosecutor of Kazakhstan Askhat Daulbayev.

Following the arrangement some specific recommendations and instructions have been given to the authorities.
