Kazakh semiologists record two quakes in Afghanistan
The network of seismic stations recorded on October 13 two earthquakes in the territory of Afghanistan, Kazinform Agency cites the seismological expedition.

The first tremor was recorded at 06:03:19 a.m. some 1,041 km southwestwards Almaty. The energy class is 10.6. The magnitude 5 earthquake occurred at a depth of 15 km. The second quake was registered at 07:09:32 a.m. Almaty time some 1,052 km southwestwards Almaty. The magnitude 4.9 quake occurred at a depth of 30 km.
No tremors were felt in Kazakhstan.
As earlier reported, the devastating earthquake struck Afghanistan on October 7 killing no less than 2,445 people.
