Kazakh Senate OKs bill on state border
ASTANA. December 20. KAZINFORM The Senate of the Kazakh Parliament at a Thursday plenary session passed the law "On state border of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

According to Turganbek Stambekov, acting director of the Frontier Service of the National Security Committee, who presented the bill, the document outlines objectives, rights and obligations of the Frontier Service. A supervisory body that will be responsible for protection of the state boundary in the Caspian Sea has been assigned in the document.
The Frontier Service is a body that ensures border security, sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of the state border.
