Kazakh Senate passes law on counter-terrorism
ASTANA. December 13. KAZINFORM At its plenary session the Kazakh Senate has reviewed in the second reading and passed the law "On amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on counter-terrorism" today.

The amendments foresee explicit separation of powers between the state and local executive bodies in counteraction to terrorism.
To organize and conduct measures to prevent terror, it is suggested creating anti-terror commissions in the regions. These commissions will be supervised by governors of the regions and cities.
