Kazakh Senate Speaker welcomed to Iran

TANA. November 16. KAZINFORM Kazakh Senate Speaker Kairat Mami received Ambassador of Iran to Kazakhstan Gorban Seifi on Wednesday; the Senate's press service told Kazinform.

The sides discussed the issues of developing Kazakh-Iranian bilateral relations. Mami noted that Kazakhstan attached much importance to the development of friendly and mutually beneficial ties with Iran. He also stressed the successful development of interparliamentary contacts.

Seifi congratulated Kazakhstan on the coming 20^th anniversary of independence. On behalf of Iran's Majles Chairman Ali Larijani he invited Kairat Mami to pay official visit to Iran. "Your visit will give additional impulse to our interparliamentary cooperation," he said.
