Kazakh State Counselor Karin, China Media Group director general Shen Haixiong meet
Kazakh State Counselor Yerlan Karin held a meeting with a delegation of China Media Group (CMG) led by Director General Shen Haixiong, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda.
During the meeting, Karin spoke about the content and value of the reforms in socio-economic, political and cultural and humanitarian areas underway in the country at the initiative of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The Kazakh State Counselor also pointed out the importance of the Year of Tourism in China, expressing gratitude to Shen Haixiong for active coverage of the events held within the Year of Tourism, in particular a number of televised projects run by CCTV-4 and CGTN teams.
For his part, Shen Haixiong thanked for the warm reception, noting the high level of preparation for the Shanghai Cooperation summit and the state visit of Chinese Chairman Xi Jinping.
The interlocutors also focused on a wide range of issues and agreed to continue the dialogue in the spirit of mutual understanding and cooperation.
