Kazakh student invents smart cradle

An 11th grader from Beskaragai district, Abai region Kirill Kozlov invented a smart cradle, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the regional education department.

The smart cradle offers enhanced safety and ultimate comfort for babies. The Android application helps parents take care of their babies. The cradle is designed to soothe newborns, bounce them, and play calming music to quiet them. It is also fitted with temperature, and humidity sensors to alert parents when a diaper is wet.

He is planning to install monitors to track the babies sleep patterns, breathing and heart rate.
