Students thanked the U.S. Embassy for support of the program and presented Ambassador Ordway with a book narrating their Access Program learning. The Ambassador awarded certificates while congratulating them on their learning and encouraging future travel and further study, the US Diplomatic Mission to Kazakhstan said.

The Access Program is a worldwide U.S. Department of State initiative which provides a foundation of English language skills to talented 13-20 year-olds from economically disadvantaged families through after-school classes and summer camps. The U.S. Embassy in Astana supports ten such programs across Kazakhstan and approximately 300 student scholarships.
