Kazakh students won 1 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals in 26th Balkan Math Olympiad

ASTANA. May 10. KAZINFORM. A student of the 10th grade from Taldykorgan won a gold medal in the XXVI Balkan Mathematical Olympiad that took place in Belgrade, Serbia; Kazinform refers to the press office of ?Daryn? National Scientific Center.

Five other students from Taldykorgan won three silver and two bronze medals. The Olympiad was held on April 28-May 4. 115 students from 19 countries took part in it. Kazakh students of the 10th and 11th grades who won in the national Olympiad in Aktau on April 15-21 were selected for the 26th BMO.
