Kazakh tennis player wins opener in Washington

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan's Zarina Diyas has reached second round of the WTA's Citi Open Tournament in Washington, U.S., Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.

In the first-round match the 20-year-old Diyas routed Alicia Tornado Black of the U.S. in straight sets 6:4, 6:0. In next round the Kazakh tennis athlete may face either Japanese Kurumi Nara or American Madison Keys.
