Kazakh tennis players down in ATP Singles and Doubles Rankings
The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) has presented an updated list of athletes’ singles and doubles rankings, Kazinform News Agency cites Sports.kz.
Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan dropped one spot landing 33rd, while Alexander Shevchenko lost four spots securing 63rd position.
The top three tennis players remained unchanged, with Jannik Sinner of Italy in the first place, followed by Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and German Alexander Zverev ranked 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
Closest to the top 100 among Kazakhstani tennis players, Mikhail Kukushkin is ranked 110th. Kazakhstan’s Dmitry Popko retained his 175th spot. Beibit Zhukayev slid one spot down landing 185th line. Timofey Skatov landed 193rd spot.
Marcel Granollers of Spain and Horacio Zeballos of Argentina share the first place, while Mate Pavic of Croatia secures 3rd place in the Men’s Doubles Rankings.
Kazakhstan’s Aleksandr Nedovyesov moved up to 54th line. Alexander Bublik lost two lines, sliding to 118th position.
Earlier it was reported that Amir Omarkhanov of Kazakhstan and Hoyoung Roh of South Korea defeated the duo of Yeonsu Jeong and Jangjun Kim from South Korea in the final with a score of 6:2, 6:2. Thus, the Kazakh-Korean duo won the ITF J300 tournament in South Korea.
