It is said in the Federation's statement.
"The Federation of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan with deep sorrow and concern perceived information on mass riots in the town of Zhanaozen in Mangystau region, which led to death of people.
We announce that labor collective and members of trade unions did not take part in unconstitutional and illegal actions," the statement reads.
"We address all labor staffs, trade union organizations, trade unions members to keep peace and restraint, not to in to provocations and false information and rumors that are aimed at violation of peaceful order and stability in the country.
We also address employers to comply with labor legislation," the statement reads.
