Kazakh, Turkmen FMs talk over phone, focus on bilateral interaction prospects
Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan discussed state and prospects for further development of the bilateral interaction, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.

The issue was discussed during a telephone conversation between Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, and Rashid Meredov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The sides also discussed the two countries’ interaction within the UN and other international structures.
The foreign ministers also elaborated on the schedule of events to be held in 2025 at the highest and high levels.
Last October, presidents of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan - Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Serdar Berdimuhamedov – adopted the Declaration of Strengthening Partnership and Deepening Multifaceted Strategic Partnership. The document was signed during the Kazakh President’s official visit to Ashgabat. Apart from that, the members of the delegations inked 20 documents at the intergovernmental, interdepartmental and interregional level.
